The main door of the cottage leads straight into our pretty kitchen and dining area where you will find everything you need.
The kitchen units, granite worktop and grey floor tiles are in keeping with the traditional cottage style. The kitchen cupboards contain pans, crockery and glassware, plus all the little extras such as extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and handwash.
Tea towels, hand towels and oven gloves are provided. There is ample storage space for all your kitchen supplies. The kitchen has Neff appliances: washing machine, microwave, integrated fridge with freezer compartment, gas hob and electric oven, plus Dualit toaster and kettle.
The dining area seats four and has a handmade pine table and pine bench, plus two chairs all with cushions. Umbrellas are available in the unlikely event of rain! A cupboard contains spare lightbulbs, batteries and a torch.
Relax in our comfortable and spacious lounge accessed down three steps from the kitchen. The lounge has a beamed ceiling, oak furniture and flooring, two new leather sofas, large stone fireplace with a recently fitted Broseley Electric Stove, Sony Smart TV, DVD and CD player.
The lighting is dimmable for cosy evenings, and there is a selection of games, DVDs and CDs. Also maps and guide books on the shelves in the alcove.
Accessed off the lounge, this recently decorated pretty single bedroom has a rustic mirror with shelf and under bed storage.
The master bedroom has exposed beams, antique pine furniture and pine floor.
Relax in the handmade antique pine double bed with white bed linen. There is also a small wall mounted TV and a travel hairdryer provided. The floor level window has lovely views over to the hills.
A cosy room next to the family bathroom, with recently fitted small double bed with storage under, wardrobe and rustic mirror with shelf. The window overlooks the lane to the fields.
Leading off from the landing is a separate WC with wash hand basin and quirky internal window.
Also on the first floor is the family bathroom, with wash hand basin, toilet, bath with shower over and fixed glass shower screen, velux window with view up the lane to the fields beyond.
In front of our cottage, there is a private south facing patio area with garden furniture.
Here you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine in our pretty garden whilst appreciating the peace and tranquility and the view over The Dales.
