The main door of the cottage leads straight into our pretty kitchen and dining area, where you will find everything you need.
The kitchen units, granite worktop and grey floor tiles are all in keeping with the traditional cottage style. Inside the kitchen cupboards, you’ll find pans, crockery, and glassware, along with thoughtful extras such as extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid and handwash.
We provide tea towels, hand towels and oven gloves and there is ample storage space for all your kitchen supplies. The kitchen is equipped with high-quality Neff appliances, including a washing machine, microwave, integrated fridge with freezer compartment, gas hob, and electric oven. You’ll also find a Dualit toaster and kettle to make your mornings more enjoyable during your stay in our holiday cottage.
The dining area seats four and features a handmade pine table, pine bench and two chairs, all with cushions. Umbrellas are available for your use, even in the unlikely event of rain during your stay in Grassington!
Relax in our comfortable and spacious lounge, accessed down three steps from the kitchen. This cosy yet stylish room is perfect for unwinding after exploring Grassington or taking one of the many local walks. The lounge features a beamed ceiling, oak furniture and flooring, two comfy leather sofas and a large stone fireplace with a Broseley electric stove.
For entertainment, there’s a TV, DVD player and a selection of games and DVDs, perfect for families enjoying weekly stays or longer holidays. The lighting is dimmable for those cosy evenings. Maps and guidebooks on the shelves in the alcove will inspire your adventures in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Accessed off the lounge, this recently decorated, pretty single bedroom is ideal for weekly stays or longer holidays. It features a rustic mirror with a shelf and convenient under-bed storage.
Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a tranquil retreat with exposed beams, antique pine furniture and a pine floor. Relax in the handmade medieval-style antique pine double bed while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of our holiday cottage.
This room also includes a small wall-mounted TV and a pine dresser with a hairdryer. The floor-level window provides lovely views of the surrounding hills.
This cosy bedroom, next to the family bathroom, features a recently fitted small double bed with under-bed storage, a wardrobe, and a rustic mirror with a shelf. The window overlooks the lane leading to the fields.
On the first floor, you’ll find a separate WC with a wash hand basin and a quirky internal window. The family bathroom features a wash hand basin, toilet and in February 2026 we replaced the bath with a walk-in shower. A Velux window offers a lovely view up the lane to the fields beyond.
In front of the cottage, there’s a private south-facing patio area with garden furniture, perfect for enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine while taking in the peace and tranquillity of the Yorkshire Dales. This outdoor space adds to the charm of our cottage, making it perfect for both relaxing weekly breaks and longer holidays.
